Bacon Candy Breadsticks

These bacon-wrapped breadsticks are brushed with brown sugar and kissed with cayenne for a crave-worthy combo of sweet heat and salty crunch.

  • Bacon sliced in half
  • Long, skinny breadsticks (we like the Alessi brand) broken in half
  • 1/2 cup brown sugar
  • Cayenne pepper to taste

Instructions

Instructions
  1. Preheat oven to 350 degrees.
  2. Line baking sheet with foil and place cooling rack on top. (If you don't have a rack, spray the foil with cooking spray).
  3. Spiral wrap each stick with bacon.
  4. Cover bacon with brown sugar and cayenne pepper mixture.
  5. Place on rack and bake 20-25 minutes.
  6. Cool on clean rack.
  7. Best enjoyed same day.
